Janet Chan, O. D.

Dr. Janet Chan is a native New Jerseyan who completed her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. She earned her optometric degree with honorary distinction from Southern California College of Optometry and was the recipient of the 1999 Alcon Excellence award. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.

Dr. Chan became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2005. To become a Fellow, one is required to write clinical case reports and to sit through a final oral examination. Upon successfully completing the oral examination, one is awarded the Fellow status. Only 10 percent of Optometrists ever become Fellows of the Academy.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Chan enjoys going to the park and other outdoor activities with her husband Felix, her two daughters Tessa and Kira, and dog, Leia.

Lisa

Lisa is our office manager who can help you select a frame style that matches your needs. She can help you with complex insurance issues. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Alex, and their two children, Alejandro Jr. and Angel.

Felix

Felix is an optician who can edge your lenses in our in-house lab facility while you wait! He can also repair and adjust anything that is still fixable. He has an eye for design and frame styling. One of his many accomplishments includes earning a bachelors degree from Pratt Institute.

Ofelia

Ofelia is a board certified optician who can help you with your eye care needs. She is fluent in Espanol. During her spare time, she enjoys acrylic painting and aerobics.

Maria Prado

Maria Prado is an optometric assistant. She can assist you in frame selection and contact lens training. Additionally, she can research your insurance eligibility. In her free time, Maria enjoys cooking and baking!

Christina Saephan

Christina is an optometric assistant. She performs tests such as the visual field test prior to your visit with the optometrist. She can also aid you in selecting a frame. Her cheerful personality will make even the youngest children feel at ease. During her free time Christina enjoys to read.
